DPCC grew out of a joint commitment by three Dearborn area churches to provide a non-denominational, Christian-oriented outreach ministry.  During the last ten years, other Dearborn area churches made the commitment to sponsor the center.
The Dearborn Pastoral Counseling Center was designed to assist people with their pain and personal struggles, and to guide them toward personal growth and maturity.  As an ecumenical outreach ministry, the services of the center are open to everyone regardless of cultural or socioeconomic background, religious beliefs, or church affiliation.

Licensing

The Center is staffed by professionally trained clinical therapists who are licensed by the State of Michigan. All clinical staff members are credentialed mental health professionals with religious backgrounds.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is composed of community members and sponsoring church representatives. The Board is responsible for overall policies and programs of the Center. It conducts fund raising, public relations efforts, and community outreach programs.
